Food Recipes as per your time and groceries
An application created to solve one of the biggest questions of everyone's every day. "What's for dinner" Numi App will show you the various options that you can cook. It is a one-stop solution for finding what to eat and how to make it with minimum effort.
Role: UX/UI Designer
Built
in Figma
Problem Statement
We have observed that people with a busy lifestyle and specific dietry requirements have trouble feeling motivated to cook. Because of this, they find themselves resorting to poor food choices when they feel overwhelmed which is costing them more money and causing the food in their home to spoil.
How might we help inspire them so they are motivated to make better food choices.
Goal
Help users to develop recipes for their at-home meals to reduce food wastage and money
Design Process
I used double diamond design process which fit perfectly to this type of project.

Surey
We started with the first step in this journey - Survey. The audience turned out to be mostly middle-aged people from 20 to 50 years. Most of the users need help with deciding what to make for their meals as well as reducing food waste.
What level of input do you have when it comes to deciding what to have for meals in your household?
How often do you eat out or get takeaway food?
Does food ever go off in your fridge or pantry and you have to throw it away?
User Interviews
To understand better the problem we should move to the next step - User Interview. Detailed answers from respondents that are actually based on their own experience helped to understand better the user's needs and expectations from the app. Based on quantitative research results, we decided to target middle-aged users who already have faced the situation. The interview lasted a bit over 30 minutes and here are some key points.
Why do users feel so hesitate to decide what to eat?
How do users currently plan and eat their meals?
What stops users from cooking more at home?
What would incentivise users to cook more at home?
How do users currently find/develop their at-home cooking recipes?
